Description
I am a concert pianist, teacher and recording artist with strong ties to Berkeley, as three of my now grown children graduated CAL Berkeley. I am an experienced performer and teacher who graduated the NYC HS of Performing Arts, Oberlin Conservatory, and holds a Master of Arts degree in Music from NYU. I have several music related publications in Clavier Magazine, the Piano Quarterly and the California Music Teacher. In the past 8 months I have cut 4 Cds (classical repertoire) and will have the latest disk streamed onto classical music archives.com through its acceptance of my recent submission. (Stanford based)
I have been recorded on WNYC Public Radio and Valley Public Radio, and have presented solo recitals on both coasts. My private piano teaching experience spans over 28 years. I teach all levels, all ages. Note that I am a member of MTAC (Music Teachers Association of California)
My intention is initially to have a weekly teaching relationship to Berkeley, though this could expand into 2 days per week. My fee would be $45 per hour.
